Anti-Cloud Scanner — Privacy Policy

The short version

Anti-Cloud Scanner does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connection. Everything you scan stays on your device. That is the entire point of the app.

How the app works

You photograph a document with your camera. The text is read on your device using your phone's built-in, offline text-recognition engine (Google ML Kit on Android, Apple Vision on iOS). The image and the recognized text never leave your device. The app does not request Internet access — it cannot upload anything, because it has no way to reach a network.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• ❌ We do NOT connect to the Internet — the app has no network permission

• ❌ We do NOT use any analytics, trackers, or advertising SDKs
• ❌ We do NOT serve ads and do NOT use an advertising ID
• ❌ We do NOT sell or share your data (there is no data to sell or share)
• ❌ We do NOT require an account or login

Where your scans are stored

Scans and any exported PDFs are held in the app's own private, on-device storage. If you choose Save to Gallery, the app writes that single image to your device's photo gallery — an add-only action on your device. The app never reads or browses the rest of your gallery. Nothing is transmitted off the device at any point.

Permissions

• Camera — Required. Used to photograph the document you want to scan. Frames are processed on-device; audio recording is disabled.
• Save to gallery (write-only) — Optional. Used only when you tap Save to Gallery, to add a scan to your device's photos. The app never reads your library.
• Billing — Optional. Used only if you choose to buy the one-time Pro upgrade (see below). Handled by the Google Play Store app, not by us.

One-time Pro purchase

The app offers a single, optional, one-time in-app purchase (Anti-Cloud Scanner Pro) that unlocks unlimited text extraction and PDF export. The purchase is processed entirely by the Google Play Store. We never see or receive your name, card number, or any payment details — Google handles the transaction. Google's handling of that purchase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The app itself stores only a local flag recording that Pro is unlocked; that flag stays on your device.

Data Retention & Deletion

All data lives on your device only. Because we operate no servers, there is nothing for us to retain, delete, or hand over.

• Delete individual scans from within the app, or
• Go to Settings → Apps → Anti-Cloud Scanner → Storage → Clear Data to erase all locally stored app data, or
• Uninstall the app to permanently remove everything associated with it from your device.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13, and is suitable for general audiences.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always indicated by the "Last updated" date above.
