Hologym — Privacy Policy

The short version

Hologym collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, no servers of ours, no sync, and no analytics. You enter no data into the app at all — it is an interactive muscle-map reference whose content is bundled inside it and runs on your device.

Hologym is free and supported by ads. As of version 1.8.0 the app shows a banner ad from Google AdMob, and to do that it uses your device's advertising ID and needs internet access. That is the only reason the app touches the network, and this policy explains exactly what it involves. Earlier versions had no internet permission at all and carried no ads.

How the app works

Hologym shows an interactive holographic body map. You tap a muscle group and the app displays a built-in list of exercises that target it. The muscle map and the exercise list are bundled inside the app; nothing you do is recorded, transmitted, or stored off the device. In fact, the INTERNET permission is removed from the app entirely, so it is technically incapable of sending any information anywhere. There is no backend to send anything to.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Permissions

Hologym requests no runtime permissions — no camera, microphone, location or storage access. It declares Internet, used solely to request the banner ad, and the Advertising ID used by Google AdMob to serve it.

Advertising

Hologym is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. There are no in-app purchases. There is a single banner ad, anchored at the bottom of the screen — it never covers the muscle map or the exercise list, and there are no full-screen ads.

To serve it, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares with Google a limited set of advertising data: your device's advertising ID, coarse device and app information, and an approximate location inferred from your IP address. This is shared with Google as an advertising partner. Google's practices are described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows you Google's consent form and honours your choice. If you do not consent to personalised ads, the app requests non-personalised ads instead. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Data Retention & Deletion

The app stores nothing about you off-device and we operate no servers, so there is nothing for us to retain, delete, or hand over. Advertising data is held by Google, not by us — use the Android ad settings above to reset or opt out. Uninstalling removes the app from your device.

Children's Privacy

Hologym is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ad content is limited to Google's "G" (general audience) rating.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always indicated by the "Last updated" date above.
