MicroWin — Privacy Policy

The short version

MicroWin collects nothing. There are no accounts, no servers, no sync, no analytics, and no advertising. The app does not send any of your information anywhere — every habit you track and every day you mark done stays on your device. That is the entire point of the app.

How the app works

MicroWin tracks exactly one habit for you and deliberately refuses to add a second. You name your habit, tap Done each day, and the app keeps your streak. All of this is stored locally on your device using your phone's on-device storage. The app performs no network requests and transmits no data off your device — there is no backend to send anything to.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• ❌ We do NOT upload your habit, streak, or any usage data anywhere
• ❌ We do NOT track your location
• ❌ We do NOT use any analytics, trackers, or crash-reporting SDKs
• ❌ We do NOT serve ads and do NOT use an advertising ID
• ❌ We do NOT sell or share your data (there is no data to sell or share)
• ❌ We do NOT require an account or login

Where your data is stored

Your habit name, your daily completions, and your streak are saved in the app's own private, on-device storage. Nothing is transmitted off the device at any point. If you reset or replace your habit inside the app, the previous data is overwritten on your device.

Permissions

• Notifications — Optional. If you turn on the daily reminder, MicroWin schedules a single local notification (by default at 8:00 PM) to nudge you to mark your habit done. The reminder is generated entirely on your device; nothing is sent to or from a server. You can turn it off at any time.
• Run at startup — Optional. Used only so your local daily reminder survives a device restart. It does not run any background network activity.

No purchases, no ads

MicroWin is completely free. There are no in-app purchases and no advertising. It does not contain an advertising SDK and does not request or use an advertising ID.

Data Retention & Deletion

All data lives on your device only. Because we operate no servers, there is nothing for us to retain, delete, or hand over.

• Reset or replace your habit from within the app, or
• Go to Settings → Apps → MicroWin → Storage → Clear Data to erase all locally stored app data, or
• Uninstall the app to permanently remove everything associated with it from your device.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13, and is suitable for general audiences.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always indicated by the "Last updated" date above.
