Introduction

Social Stats Tracker ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile application developed and published by Rizwan Shoaib that lets you track YouTube and Instagram social media statistics together in one dashboard. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we access, why, and how it's handled.

What the App Does

Social Stats Tracker displays public statistics for the YouTube channels and Instagram accounts you choose to follow — such as subscriber and follower counts, view counts, and other publicly available metrics. This data is retrieved through the official YouTube and Instagram APIs and shown to you in a single, easy-to-read dashboard.

Data We Access

• Public Social Media Statistics — The app uses the YouTube and Instagram APIs to fetch publicly available channel and account statistics for the profiles you add. Only public data is accessed. The app does not require you to log in to your YouTube or Instagram account, and it does not access any private, non-public information.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT collect any personal data
• We do NOT require you to create an account or sign in
• We do NOT access private or non-public information from your social media accounts
• We do NOT track your location
• We do NOT sell your personal data
• We do NOT share your data with any third parties, except as needed to display ads (see below)

Local Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

• The list of YouTube channels and Instagram accounts you have chosen to track
• Cached statistics for offline viewing
• Your display preferences and settings

This data never leaves your device except to communicate with the YouTube and Instagram APIs to refresh statistics. You can clear it at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings.

Third-Party Services

• YouTube API — We use the YouTube Data API to retrieve public channel statistics. This communication is secured via HTTPS. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Instagram API — We use the Instagram API to retrieve public account statistics. This communication is secured via HTTPS. See Instagram's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob (Ads) — We display ads served by Google AdMob to support the free version of the app. When an ad is requested, Google and its partners may collect and process:
  • Your Advertising ID (a resettable identifier that you can reset or disable in your device settings)
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address
  • Device information (model, OS version, language, country)
  • Ad-interaction events (impressions, clicks)

Permissions

• Internet — Required to communicate with the YouTube and Instagram APIs and to display ads.

Data Retention & Deletion

All user data is stored locally on your device only. We do not store any of your data on external servers.

How long we retain data: Local data (your tracked accounts, cached statistics, preferences) is kept on your device for as long as the app is installed.

How to delete your data:

• Remove tracked accounts from within the app to clear their cached statistics.
• Go to your device's Settings → Apps → Social Stats Tracker → Storage → Clear Data to erase all locally stored app data.
• Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all associated data from your device.

Children's Privacy

This app is not designed for or directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top.
